Colour the Dark - Light painting Interactive

Colour the Dark is an extremely popular light painting application perfect for festivals and public spaces. From a touch screen, the public are invited to draw and colour their own artworks. These art works can be projected via projection mapping of any surface, or sent to an LED screen for viewing. This activation is particularly effective when the art works can be projected at large scale. This creates room for viewing and feedback from the audience and those waiting in the queue. This activation requires a plinth and touch screen, laptop and chosen viewing technology (Projection or screen). It is possible to add a background plate to the drawing area - for example a template of the stars for a Matariki theme.
