Samsung Worst Children’s Library
Samsung / Safe Surfer / DDB
Info
Trigger warning - this case study contains disturbing content.
Samsung Worst Children’s Library was a physical demonstration of the real harm children are exposed to online — a library where every single book title reflected something a child has seen on the internet.
We worked closely with DDB Creative to design the immersive library experience — complementing the physical hard-cover books with a surprise audio-visual projection that brought harmful content into view, then blocked it in real time, mirroring how Samsung Safe Surfer helps keep kids safer online.
It was a complex, precision projection-mapping job across every featured book, requiring significant planning from location to lighting, and delivered with only a few hours on site to install before the live experience.
As parents, this subject matter sits close to our hearts — and we’re grateful to see this important work recognised.
The campaign has received 8 Axis Award nominations, adding to 15 global awards to date, including Cannes Lions, LIA and AWARD.
